I have a routine that I follow because of my chronic pain. I try to exercise every morning because it gets the blood flowing to my muscles and endorphins kick in. I run with my daughter in her stroller most mornings or do yoga. I eat healthy (most of the time) I am addicted to ice cream though. I juice, and make smoothies with certain things that help reduce inflammation etc. I go to sleep before most grandparents do because I have learned I need a good amount of sleep to help with my chronic pain. People make fun of me alllll the time for my routine oriented life and say things like : “oh you are so skinny you can have a couple doughnuts.” No, actually it will make me feel like crap. I go with a quick: “no thank you.”
I have come to a point where I don’t owe anyone any explanations for why I do the shit I do. Its my life and I’m going to listen to my inner wisdom.
