New Beginnings!

Spring has sprung and Easter is only two days away. I will be quite honest, I am looking forward to being the Easter Bunny, making Kayci a basket and having multiple Easter egg hunts with her this coming Sunday. I love being able to be a kid again! This time of year is also a time for reflection and change. It is never too late to make new choices and change certain things in our lives that no longer serve us. If you have been following my blog, you know that I made a solid choice a while back to manage my pain naturally and without ever having to see a pain doctor again. I am very happy with that choice and if you read my blog part of you (even if just a little bit of you) may think that my approach is something they want to try to manage their pain. I have hit rock bottom more than once and I have come very close to destroying my life due to my battle with chronic pain. Change is a process, not an event. I truly believe all my readers could take my approach to chronic pain and be successful especially if you have a support system. However, we must take one day at a time and just do the best we can with the knowledge we have.

Most of us make resolutions when the new year arrives. In my opinion, not many of us stick to our resolutions because we make goals that are just too large and not attainable. We must think simpler and make simple goals. I believe Easter is a time to make a goal and make a new choice. You are all so much stronger than you think. Living with chronic pain can be a nightmare and I really came close to losing my life due to my chronic illness. I did not want to live if I had no cure to chronic pain. But, here I am and things got better but it took a long time and numerous falls along the way. Hell, I still fall down but I get right back up. If I can get to the place I am now, anyone can. Never give up on yourself. If I have anything to do with it, you will all regain some hope and confidence. And give yourself credit, I have been through a lot in my life and chronic pain has tested my strength more than anything else I have ever faced. Have faith and know that I send you positive energy each and every day.

  1. I’m like you in that I know I’ll always be able to get back up, because I got where I am today. I’ve managed several big challenges and come through on the other side. I am a very positive person. We are important because we practice being positive and that, I believe, affects others.
